Looking at the futures it's interesting to see bonds ticking down against a stronger $ and weaker equities. With crypto down across the board it looks like gold is the only safe haven.

Oh Mate!!!

So many moving parts.

Warren Zevon would be in his zone.

It used to be that the weekends, and particularly Father’s Day weekends were slots that we genuinely knew we could switched off and wind-down…and the World would cooperate and give us the oxygen to do so.

By next Monday morning… anything…Anything!!! could have gone down.

Rant Over.

Have a great weekend and a Very Happy Father’s Day to You.

( And Thinking of your Old Man and the stuff that you have been through…Gotta Keep the Faith )

Brian

JJ: I take your comments this morning to heart. Thank you. I shudder to think that there is a link between Iran and the riots in the USA. The price action across markets following Israel's attack has been more subdued than I expected, but then the 2nd shoe hasn't dropped yet. I remember in 1990 WTI had been trending lower from Jan highs around $24 to $15 by June, but from early July 1990 to the end of the month WTI rallied from $16 to $21 and then rocketed to $28 within days of Saddam's invasion of Kuwait, and went on to all-time highs of $40 by October. I always thought the rally ahead of the invasion showed that "somebody knew" it was going to happen. The rally from $60 to $68 since the end of May this year also looks like "somebody knew," and if this plays out like 1990, once the 2nd shoe drops (Iran responds and the war intensifies), WTI could be north of $100 this summer.

It is curious that all of the “mayhem events” emerged as one this week.

Getting tired of this Trump chaos now, although I was glad he won over the Deep State puppet he was eventually up against once they retired the last one - not that I had a vote as I’m an Englishman, but I would have voted for him if I did. Still, it’s getting tiring.

Trump is the only voice for peace on the planet ...He tried to make a deal. it's ironic that in our time that the party attacked is actually the party that provokes the war.
