Yes, sold all my gold & silver Jan 16 options last week. Still holding my gold and silver stocks. Great to start the year with my casino money up $50K - my aunt likes to go to the casino to gamble - I like to gamble with options - I have a lot better chance of winning.
Question for Alyosha - what price Silver before something breaks?
I wish I knew. I'm flat futures but happy. I was a passive long for almost 2 years, got out of half last august and the rest in December. I still own a lot of physical silver and gold. I might add to that if we get a hard break but I am having a very good day today! I had insomnia over my Hecla position so I got out that, too. it's hard staying out once you're out but not that hard. The year is young...
Illuminating point on $XOM. Friday headlines made it sound like the White House confab with oil execs was a bust. But watching the actual video footage, it was more convivial, upbeat. Seemed to me that the $XOM exec was simply defining table stakes as at the start of any business negotiation. Cautious like big companies are wont to be. The wildcatters, execs from privately held companies, however, seemed eager to exploit a business chance, rarin’ to go. Visions of a LatAm oil kingdom indeed.
Rumours about a Chinese ultimatum floated, to lift all sanctions on Venezuela immediately, what seems to be slightly validated, considering the 67 Billion, China has invested there. Both Infrastructure and loans. Can hardly imagine they would like to write them off.
Gm JJ, I appreciate you sharing your knowledge and experience it’s been a big help and I enjoy your song links too. If you haven’t read ‘Weird Scenes Inside the Canyon’ you might enjoy it. Details the ‘60’s & 70’s music scene in Laurel Canyon, very eye-opening to say the least.
I guess the BCOM rebalance isn't going to be as big an issue as we thought
I think silver is a stronger market than we thought... it's taking in 14 million a day... and saying more please...

And now these Trumped up charges against Powell! Feels like a bit of a perfect storm.
I misread that room entirely. Thought some bids should work due to the extra amount offered. Not one fulfilled. Instead Rally whereever you look.
now I feel silly I lightened up two weeks ago!
That means you shrank your exposure? Well depends on the Stocks I guess I've just 6 slv related and they indeed rallied..... But much too few 🤕
Owned for a long time, just reduced the size a little. Still in

2026 is starting out as a crazy year!
I did a little harvesting last week and knocked off a quarter of my SLV options, but letting the rest run a while longer.
