"Shores of Normandy": my dad and 4 uncles enlisted and lived while so many enlisted and died. The next YouTube song up was "Hotel California": desperately sad - sad that the song had to be written and sung and sung and sung, but so gorgeously. Then came "Bridge over troubled water", and redemption. Thanks Alyosha - I needed a good cry. Lest We Forget.
I had a plan. it's been quite a long and unflinching campaign for me ... a lot of tooth grinding and screen chcking at 2 AM... and it's always healthy to harvest. I'm still very much in.
Ah! the ole 2a screen watch. A wise man once told me if I'm checking futures at 2a my position is too large lol. I can't recall the last time I didn't check futures when I got up to let the dogs out or pee at night though 🤷 🙃
I think Trump is the west's last chance and supported him wholeheartedly. I still do, but his daily pressers are turning me off. His non-stop braggadocio about the same things using the same words is beyond tiresome. From where I sit he is no longer doing himself any favors. Action is what I want, not repetitive stories one would expect from a self-centered, needy grandfather. Get some indictments filed against Schiff, Joe and Jill and Garland. Get some long promised trade agreements done with Japan, Korea, etc. and then I'll be jumping up and down again. Give us some meat not the same stories over and over again.
Serendipitously, I live in what was a little fishing town on the coast of South Devon, England called Salcombe.
It was one of the places that thousands of US Soldiers, who were stationed in the area awaiting the signal that the Invasion was a go, and left from Salcombe to cross the Channel 81 years ago this morning.
I got married in Salcombe in ‘83 to a Salcombe Girl.
And the Joke amongst the Locals was that, with all of my American Family & Friends in town for the wedding, ….“There ain’t been this many ‘Mericans in Salcombe since June of ‘44”.
Neither of those two are subtle in any way, nor capable of the theatre you suggest. That’s not to diminish what strengths they have, and you don’t get to where they are without prodigious strength, but we are seeing their true selves. IMO. 🥂
Apart from all his other flaws Trump is relatively blameless in this kerfuffle. His bill is simply an expression of the voter's mandate. He did what he had to do to honor those promises as "disgusting" as compromises always are in government. Fwiw being half Canadian in spirit, the bros up there are no angels.
Musk literally went full blown "road rage" and Trump took it on the chin. The Epstein slur was a very low and cheap disclosure of the worst side of all genius. Love me love my dog... It's June 6. More import things to think about. Have a great day, sir.
I am a little surprised at Trump’s reserve. Considering the vindictive and “no holds barred” comments he has thrown around before. Seems awful tame? Not convinced there’s a new leaf in the ALL CAPS playbook. Curious.
Budget concerns have nothing to do with my comments, and debt to GDP in Canada is less than 1/2 the States, despite the insanity of the previous government spending. Juries still out on the new leader in that regard as far as I’m concerned.

“The Trump Musk crack up is the unintended consequence of the century.”
I dunno?
Same sh!t, different dude.
Trump has plenty of enemies, but they might be better off watching him run another opportunity into the ground. And another. It’s his gift.
Gm Derek... I refer you to my reply to Leslie.
What you see is what you get.
