Tariff news dominated the New York session today. Mexico’s President Sheinbaum informed President Trump she would immediately reinforce the northern border with 10,000 National Guard troops this morning. She also said her team and Trump’s would immediately begin working together on trade and security and reducing the flow of high-powered weapons into Mexico. Stocks and Bitcoin rallied from steep overnight lows. Gold made all-time highs.

Later in the day, Kaitlan Collins said, “President Trump tells me his call with Prime Minister Trudeau went ‘very well.’” Asked if the tariffs against Canada are still going into effect tonight, he said, “Watch.” Just in: TRUDEAU SAYS US TARIFFS TO BE PAUSED FOR AT LEAST 30 DAYS.

It was just another Manic Monday. Stocks tried but didn’t. Gold is making fools of the dealers. Silver may be ready for something. Bitcoin had a classic flush. And oil could be poised for a plunge… here we go.
