Had to dig around to find one. Interesting concept: measures the strength and breadth of a stock market rally by analyzing the ratio of advancing stocks to the total number of stocks (advancing plus declining) on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). The indicator is calculated using a 10-day moving average (typically exponential or simple) of this ratio. A "thrust" occurs when the indicator rises sharply from below 40% (oversold) to above 61.5% (overbought) within a 10-day period, signaling a rapid shift in market sentiment that often marks the start of a bull market.
Grok: "Historically, ZBT signals are rare, with only 18 occurrences since 1945, and they have a strong track record, with the S&P 500 rising 100% of the time 6 and 12 months later, averaging gains of 15.3% and 24.0%, respectively.Ccritics note inconsistencies, such as false signals before 1950 and a 25-year signal drought from 1984 to 2009, suggesting it may be less reliable in certain market conditions."
None of my front ends, have one ( Bloomberg, CQG, Schwab). Any ideas where I can see it
Trannies (DJT) used to mean, and to me, still mean, The Dow Jones Transportation Average Index. (Which may have "confirmed" a move in the Dow Jones Industrials Index today.) Now, when I google "Trannies"...Yikes!
For readers any that didn't know about it or the occurance of it yesterday (like me). Check my reply to Garrett Heator up top in this chain of comments Ty sir.
it appears to me that the market has absorbed all it can from the administration now and is back to simply trading. we will need something remarkable to get the next leg
Ha ha ha tranies having kids…oh that made my day!
I’ve got Marty’s 17 rules taped to my OC thanks to you. Helps me to sleep well at night.
Sort of like two trannies getting married and trying to have kids. Best analogy of the week
