The LA Dodger’s Freddie Freeman hit a walk-off grand slam at 3 AM New York time in the 18th inning of Game 3 of the World Series. The Dodgers won the game 6-5 and lead the series 2-1. When it was over, the guy slated to pitch for the Dodgers tonight got on base so many times, he needed an IV. Shohei Ohtani doubled, then he homered, doubled again, then he homered again. Usually, I hate extra-inning games, but this one was pretty crazy.
In lesser news, it is day one of the FOMC. The Fed is cutting at least 0.25 bps into a boom, magnitude of which TBD.
